• Commission work is never the same, so time varies. It can take just a few hours to double digits, for larger projects. There is no way to estimate how long a project will take, but we will be there to update you every step of the way! Please be patient and know that we're working hard to create your order to the best of our ability.

How long does commission work take?

Why Must I pay the base price ahead of time?

• Custom work takes time, energy and sometimes money of my own in order to create or purchase a needed asset for the work. After being burned more than enough times, accepted losses and more, this policy was created to protect our time, energy and business.

How long do I have to pay?

• After Base Price, in the client agreement form that must be signed, it states: "You must be ready to offer payment on the date of completion or the day after the project has been finished. The project final date will be found in your client checklist."

• Unless prior written agreement has been made to accept methods of payment such as Split-Total or Pay-By-Phase will be handled differently.

• Personal Use allows you to only give away items with limited Second Life System Permissions — Hence why it is personal use. You do not have to worry about a fee and sharing your item, so long as you have adjusted permissions so that the receiver of the product cannot give it away to others with permissions or sell it.

• Commercial allows you to give away or sell with whatever permissions you deem necessary.

Why do I need to pay an extra fee for custom work for Commercial purposes?

What's the difference between Personal Use and Commercial?

• We've choose to make this charge because we could potentially make more money on this product as well. As a digital product that is easily copy-able, this is an extra layer of security that states that the item now solely belongs to you and you may do whatever you wish with it, with whatever system permissions that Second Life allows.

Are there other options other than Personal Use, Commercial or Group Licenses?

• No, but we may be able to come to an agreement and payment plan. Fees will apply. Please contact us about this!

What do you do with Credit Card information?

• Absolutely nothing — We're authorized by PayPal to accept credit cards with our device; nothing other than enter your Credit Card information. We do not store your Credit Card information on file.

• While it is not illegal to store your credit card information, we choose not to store it, just in case our tech is compromised, this way you're safe!

How do I pay with PayPal?

• We offer a few different ways to help you easily Pay with PayPal:

  • We can send you direct link to the pay-page via Email or private messaging

  • You can enter our email into your PayPal's payment options: lambdacorp92@gmail.com

  • You can easily capture our Scan-to-Pay QR Code with your mobile device and manually enter the amount in your Checklist & Agreement form

May I use a Credit Card?

• Of course, however we charge a 2.5% Credit Card Fee of your total price — We do not accept American Express.

Why Base Price & then Hourly?

• 3D Modeling can be time consuming and if we were to estimate a price, we could be losing out on several man hours that really should have been charged — This doesn't benefit us, nor does this create a living wage.

What is a "Base Price"?

• The Base Price is the required up-front, commission fee to start your project. Without this fee paid, your project will not begin. The Base Price secures your project in the client-queue process; other clients who came before you and paid this fee will be taken care of before we start your project.
  

• The Base Price also acts as a security measure for us, in case of losses & scammers. This fee is non-refundable.

What's the best method of Communication?

How do I get started with an order?

• Follow this link, but please visit our Pay-Page and Pricing Page to review any fees, prices and more before you submit an Order Form.

How will I know when the project is finished?

• We'll let you know immediately via your preferred method of communication.

  • We prefer Discord. We will create a special chat for us in the Lambda Corporation Update Discord.

What if I can't pay?

• If the project is finished, your item will be held until you can pay.

  • Note that there are no-refunds, especially for the base price. Please inform us and inquire if you feel you will not be able to pay on time.

• If the project isn't finished yet, your project will be put on-hold until you can pay.

  • Note that we may be able to switch to Split-Total, please inform us and inquire if you feel you will not be able to pay on time.

• Please be certain that you will be able to execute Immediate Payment (due on date or the day after project finish date)

  • Otherwise, please select Split-Total or Pay-By-Stage Payment solutions on your Order Form

How does the Refer-A-Friend Program Work?

• Previous Custom Order Clients may earn $20.00-Off of their next Custom order.

  • Refer-A-Friend Offer is limited to hourly charges only and only once per new customer. Referred customer must complete the project completion payment process for this offer to be valid. This offer will not stack; one order per new customer referral, you may however earn you many future discounts. New Customer must state your name on the order page for this offer to be valid to both of you.
